Downshift

For my Video Productions class at school, myself and a few others formed a film crew to produce a short film.

I had an interesting concept for a story, and a willing crew.

The main thing I appreciate so much about this is that it was all shot on my Sony a33, and using mostly natural light. The only light I used was a LED video light for a few scenes where it was just way too dark.

The film was shot over the course of 5 days, all over the city of Albuquerque. Countless hours were spent shooting, sifting through footage, and finally putting it all together.

Here it is, my newest work, Downshift.

In the production of this film, I grabbed many stills that I think were representative of the story and aesthetic. Here is the link to the full album on Flickr.
